We have resumed in-person advising on the Danforth Campus at January Hall. All visitors must comply with CDC masking, physical distancing guidelines, and perform a self-screening before arriving for their appointment. Advisors are also available to help you by email, phone or Zoom.

Special Audit & Day Audit Programs

Special Audit Program

Students may audit a wide selection of undergraduate courses in University College for $350 per course. The Special Audit option makes it easier than ever to challenge yourself with high-quality, continuing education at Washington University in St. Louis.

All University College courses available through the Special Audit Program are noted with an "SA" icon in the course listings. Courses taken as Special Audit do not appear on a Washington University transcript, do not carry academic credit, and do not apply to degree requirements in a University College program of study.

Day Audit Program

Adult students may audit select undergraduate day courses in the College of Arts & Sciences for $350 on a noncredit, space-available basis.

All undergraduate day courses available through the Day Audit Program are noted with an "SA" icon in the course listings. The Arts & Sciences Day Audit Program is designed for personal enrichment, and courses taken through this program do not receive a grade, do not receive credit toward a degree or certificate program, and do not appear on a Washington University transcript.

Please note that University College cannot provide technology support for students enrolled in Special or Day Audit courses. This includes fully online, online hybrid, and in-classroom courses.
