University College opens new West Campus location

University College is excited to announce an expansion to Washington University's West Campus location on Thursday, February 23, 2017. January Hall will continue to house the deans' administrative offices, and offer advising for University College.

Student Advising Hours
Student advising will be available at the new West Campus office and on the Danforth Campus in January Hall. See the full schedule below:

  • West Campus Advising: Student advising is available from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
  • Danforth Campus Advising: Student advising is available from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Monday-Thursday.

Which services are expanding to West Campus?
University College's administrative, registration, and admissions offices will be located at West Campus. Advising will be available on both campuses. 

What are the office hours?

  1. West Campus Office Hours: administrative, registration, admissions, and advising offices are open from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  2. Danforth Campus Office Hours: Deans' administrative offices are open from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. 
    Student advising is available from 4-6 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
Where can I park?

After 5 p.m. the WashU campus is open for parking in any parking space not marked as red or reserved in any zone. Those who do not need to park on campus all day but do need a space prior to 5 p.m. can purchase an evening permit, which is valid starting at 3:30 p.m., including: 

  • Evening Red Permits: Available to faculty and staff and valid in any red or reserved space in any zone from 3:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday and on weekends.
  • Evening Yellow Permits: Available to full-time day undergraduate students (junior or higher standing who live off-campus) and also to any part-time undergraduate or graduate students in University College and part-time, degree- or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate students in any of Washington University’s schools (Business, Engineering, etc.). These permits are valid in any space not marked as red or reserved in Zones 2 and 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends.

In addition, there are a series of spaces along Forsyth that have been reassigned as “Perimeter Red” parking spaces. Between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, these spaces require a Red Faculty/Staff Permit; however, these spaces are open to anyone from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends. 

2-hour visitor parking is available in the north lot behind the garage as well as the upper east lot.

Disabled parking is available in both the garage and upper east lots.

Which phone number do I call for after-hours A/V assistance?

  • Call 935-6720 for classroom assistance until 7 p.m. during the first week of the semester.
  • Call 935-4806 until 6 p.m. after the first week of the semester for assistance after you have first rebooted the classroom computer system. 

Where do I submit my I-9 documentation?
West Campus offices.

Where can I pick up my paycheck?
Faculty and coordinators that receive physical checks will continue pick up checks in January Hall, room 100.
