Returning Students

We know life is busy. That’s why our faculty and staff are here to work with you on a personal level to ensure your transition back to school is as smooth as possible.

For busy adults, the path to degree completion can be full of twists and turns, stops and starts. We understand that balancing academics and your busy life can be challenging which is why we’ve made it easier than ever to pick up where you left off.

If you have previously been admitted to one of our degree programs, your credits do not expire and you do not need to reapply. Unless you have completed additional academic work since you were last enrolled at the School of Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS), there is no need to resend your transcripts.

Step 1: Explore financial options

CAPS offers opportunities for financial assistance, including federal and state grants and loans, merit- and need-based scholarships, and employee tuition reimbursement.

Step 2: Meet with an advisor

Our academic advisors work closely with returning students to develop a comprehensive academic plan that works with your schedule. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to discuss academic goals and interests. Advisors are available to meet in person, on the phone, or via email.
