University College Recognition Ceremony

Recognizing Our Graduates 

Each year all University College students who have completed a degree or certificate program in the previous Summer, Fall or current Spring term are joined by their friends, family, faculty, and peers in a heartfelt celebration of achievement. 

The next University College Recognition Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). At this ceremony, each graduate is recognized by name and proceeds across the stage in Graham Chapel.

Diplomas 

University College graduates are able to collect diplomas at our reception following the All-University Commencement on Friday, May 18. The reception will be held at 11 a.m. (or following Commencement) in the Women's Building Formal Lounge.

About the Recognition Ceremony

Location 

University College holds its Recognition Ceremony in Graham Chapel on the Danforth Campus. 

Additional Details

At this event, graduates will be recognized individually by major. A professional photographer photographs each graduate, and the proofs are emailed to students shortly after the ceremony. The Ceremony should conclude about 9 p.m. The event will also stream live on our website (link to come).
