The Summer Writers Institute, held each June, consists of two weeks of intensive creative-writing workshops including a special workshop for high-school juniors and seniors. You may choose to attend on a non-credit basis or to earn three college credits.

University College offers a range of noncredit opportunities for the St. Louis community ranging from short courses to lectures and workshops. Many of the workshops and lectures are free, and the short courses are offered at a nominal charge of $50.
