Admission
All applicants for admission to a graduate program must submit the following:
- A completed Application for Graduate Admission form, including the required essay for all graduate programs, and additional writing samples for selected graduate programs.
- A nonrefundable $35 application fee.
- Official transcripts of all previous undergraduate and graduate college work.
- Three academic or professional letters of recommendation.
Several graduate programs also require additional writing samples and standardized test scores. Visit "Listing of Programs" on this Web site, then the program of your choice, and review program-specific admissions requirements. Additional program-specific admissions requirements are also noted on the admission application. Personal interviews are not required, but may be scheduled.
Admission Deadlines: July 15 for Fall; October 15 for Spring; March 15 for Summer. University College and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences review completed applications and make admissions decisions on a rolling basis.
