Washington University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and is a member of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, the College Board, the American Council on Education, and the Independent Colleges and Universities of Missouri. University College is a member of the Association for Continuing Higher Education, the University Continuing Education Association, and the Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs.
Mission Statement
The mission of University College is to draw upon the resources of Washington University to provide continuing adult education of the highest quality to the St. Louis region, through programs in the liberal arts, in professional development, and in lifelong learning.
